Shabby Chic

The girls dressed in their first vintage outfits today to head to the Flowertown Festival - dresses made from "shabby chic" chenille bedspreads. They were gifts I received at one of my baby showers one year ago, but today was the first chance the girls have had to wear them. Cute, right? It was still too wet from Thursday's monsoon to play in the grass, but Anna Claire and Mallory were happy for a while playing in the driveway -- anything to be outside. Crawling on concrete hurts...and yes, Anna Claire ate the grass, again.
We were only at the festival for a short while -- long enough to have the girls' silhouettes drawn, then it was back home. The girls so wanted to be outside today, but it turned rainy again not long after we got back home. We are hoping for nice weather this week, but it doesn't look like it's going to work out. Hmmm...what will we do inside all week is if is cold and rainy outside?

Go Tigers!

We may have lost this weekend, but we're still fans of our Clemson Tigers! Anna Claire's initials are ACC, after all!
...and I think Mallory pretty much sums up how we feel about those other tigers. Shh...don't tell Walter!

Cold Snap

Okay, so it isn't exactly cold outside, but today's high has only reached 81, it's overcast, and the house is cool; so I couldn't resist dressing the girls in outfits with feet for the first time today!
