Camera Dump

Last week was a long week and I pretty much stayed off the computer unless I was working. I did pick up my camera several times, though, so for the next few days I'll be catching up on all the fun last week and this past weekend.

Let's get started with Mallory's new favorite past time ~ going into Mommy's closet and/or jewelry box and coming out looking something like this...

A Girl and Her [Mommy's] Shoes

Coming...and going... A while back I posted a picture of Mallory wearing Walter's flip flops. The girl loves to wear shoes - hers, mine, and ours. I walked back to the nursery with Anna Claire this weekend to change her diaper, and when we came out of the girls' room who met us in the hallway but Mallory wearing my shoes! Apparently she had walked all the way down the hall to come find us then turned around and walked all the way back up the hallway to the living room all the while keeping my shoes on her feet!

Big Shoes to Fill

It's never a struggle to get them to put shoes on, and Mallory especially loves trying on Mommy's shoes. She even tried walking in Walter's flip flops this weekend... ...and she gets very upset when they fall off. Or when she falls down because they're too big. She gets back up, though, and tries putting them right back on. Instead of walking, she sort of slides her feet along the floor so she can keep "her" shoes on both feet.

We went shoe shopping again this weekend. I am finding it very difficult to find two pairs of shoes in the same size in the same store.

Color Blind

Walter changed the girls and put them down for their afternoon nap while I attended to other things (a nap of my own, actually). Imagine my surprise, then, when I went in to get the girls after they woke up and saw Anna Claire wearing this... What an ensemble - yellow leggings with multi-colored butterflies paired with a pink and brown floral print onesie! Huh? His answer - they were in a hurry. Too funny!!

Didn't seem to bother Anna Claire one bit, though. Mallory was better off; at least she was wearing pink on pink. Not a great match, but at least she didn't look like she had been dressed by a color-blind daddy.

Beautiful Bows

I guess granny and the girls got a little bored waiting for me to get home from work, so granny decided to tie big bows around the girls' heads. This is how they were when I got to mom and dad's house...

We may have lost this weekend, but we're still fans of our Clemson Tigers! Anna Claire's initials are ACC, after all!

...and I think Mallory pretty much sums up how we feel about those other tigers. Shh...don't tell Walter!
