Happy Mother's Day!

Did you have a Happy Mother's Day?

Anna Claire and Mallory had a Mother's Day tea at playschool which was lovely. We sang songs, danced, played games, and ate yummy cupcakes and fruit kabobs. The girls had made a few cute art projects including the thumbprint necklaces I'm wearing in the picture below!

Sunday we wet over to Granny and Papa's where the kids swam in the pool {no, the water is not warm enough} and jumped on the trampoline.
What a cute picure. I took it with my new iPhone that I got for Mother's Day...finally! ha.ha.

I hope you had as wonderful as a Mother's Day as I did!

Mother's Day Wash~Out

It rained all day on mother's day, but playing with their new umbrellas {instead of swimming in the pool} was just fine with Anna Claire, Mallory, and Dylan.

Happy Mother's Day

Tuesday was the Mother's Day Tea at Anna Claire and Mallory's playschool. They sang a few sweet songs, we ate muffins and cucumber sandwiches and drank tea, and the girls each gave me flowers planted in tea cups along with a booklet full of photos their teachers took throughout the school year and some other precious artwork. They were so excited I could be there, and I would not have missed it for anything!

Happy Mother's Day!!

Happy Mother's Day!

I had a fabulous Mother’s Day this past weekend, and I hope you did, too!

In addition to a gorgeous Swedish Ivy basket for the back porch, Walter bought one of those recordable cards from Hallmark and recorded the girls saying “Happy Mother’s Day!” I could hear them from behind closed doors and I think it took about 37 tries for them to get it just right. It was hilarious eavesdropping!

Last week the girls had a cute little Mother’s Day tea at playschool. I got all kinds of surcies handmade by the girls as well as an amazing slide show of all the pictures Mrs. Lori has taken of the class throughout the school year. I’ve got to find a way to share that here. It is too cute!

Watching herself on TV {slide show}. She gave herself a front~row seat...
