Another cold and rainy weekend was pretty much spent indoors. We did get to take a quick stroll around the block Friday afternoon before the sun began to set and the breeze picked up. After that, it was either too cold or too rainy to have much fun outside this weekend. So, instead Anna Claire and Mallory practiced with their sippy cups...
The girls don't quite understand they have to tip the cup up and pretty much just use them as teethers. Tonight, however, Anna Claire was lying on her back and picked up the sippy cup laying among her toys. After gnawing on it for a few seconds, she must have sucked once or twice and instantly had it figured out. It was all I could do to get the sippy cup away from her.
Anna Claire and Mallory also played in the empty (finally, but nevertheless, not for long) laundry basket...
Playtime in our newly converted pack & play...
No longer needed as a bassinet, the girls now seem to like using it as a play pen. Now that they like to roll around the floor, I can keep them contained for a few minutes if I need to leave the room for a quick second.
One of the girls new favorite past times is to sit next to their toy bins and empty them of their contents. I go behind their backs and put the toys back in and they pull them out again. We do this over and over getting a good twenty minutes of fun out of this activity!

That's why I LOVE reading your blog...I can see what is in store for me in the months to come. I've been wondering if my twosome will play in a PNP, and how they'll do with sippy cups! :)
As usual, your girls are adorable.
