Anna Claire and Mallory had a wonderful first Easter. Mallory was quite eager to tear right in to her Easter basket, but Anna Claire was a bit more hesitant.
Once we unwrapped the cellophane from the baskets, Anna Claire was very excited to dig into her basket and see what the Easter Bunny brought her...two bunny rabbits for each girl, Easter books, bubbles, sunglasses, rubber duckies, pinwheels, little wind-up Easter toys and lots more. Mommy and Daddy were hoping the Easter Bunny might have accidentally left some chocolate, but no luck.
It's getting more and more difficult to get the girls to sit still
and smile at the same time...
A little later on the girls got all dressed up in their Easter dresses and we went over to Granny and Papa's to have lunch with the family. Guess what? The Easter Bunny left Easter baskets for Anna Claire and Mallory there, too!
Before lunch, we took all the kids outside to take their pictures in the beautiful weather. What and adventure trying to get three babies and an almost-five-year-old to let us take their pictures. (Any chance Aunt Michelle will let me post that picture?)
Other than the fact that Anna Claire would not take her afternoon nap (and you never would have known it -- that girl is a live wire!), the girls had so much fun today!
Happy first Easter, Anna Claire and Mallory! We love you!

I looked at out pics. I just keep telling myself that Jon and Kate have a much harder time taking pictures. You can post them. The little ones look cute.
