The Girls and Their Babies
Anna Claire and Mallory, but especially Anna Claire, love their baby dolls.
Mallory insists on having her baby doll swaddled for cartoons on the weekends and then wants to be wrapped up in a blanket, too.
What do the girls love more than their baby dolls? Why, their lovies of course! Anna Claire carries her lovies (which most frequently include her Lovie Bunny and Froggie) all over the house. She is a very attentive mommy taking great care of all her "lovies." Mallory's favorite lovies include Sparky and Lovie Bear. Of course, I don't have any pictures of the girls with their lovies, but I'll work on that!

Fall Back
The girls seem to be adjusted to the time change now, but waking up extra-early Sunday morning before mommy had the chance to get herself ready for the day meant the girls got to watch cartoons in our bed.
Please notice that Mallory never takes her eyes off the TV in any of these pictures. She loves to watch cartoons - maybe too much!

A Girl and Her [Mommy's] Shoes
Coming...
and going...
A while back I posted a picture of Mallory wearing Walter's flip flops. The girl loves to wear shoes - hers, mine, and ours. I walked back to the nursery with Anna Claire this weekend to change her diaper, and when we came out of the girls' room who met us in the hallway but Mallory wearing my shoes! Apparently she had walked all the way down the hall to come find us then turned around and walked all the way back up the hallway to the living room all the while keeping my shoes on her feet!

Happy Halloween!
Anna Claire and Mallory had a very happy Halloween this evening. Our two silly little clowns had lots of fun visiting all their grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. They got lots of treats and no tricks. Thank you, everyone, for all the goodies!
The girls were all smiles (mostly) throughout the evening, and they were just adorable in their clown costumes; I just wish I had gotten a few photos that showed off the costumes a little better. I am quite proud their costumes held up. The funniest thing, though, is that Mallory was climbing up into the seat of the lawnmower with papa and her costume got caught on a bolt which ripped a huge hole in the seat of her costume. I had to laugh!
It's still not easy getting a shot of both girls sitting still and smiling...

Anna Claire's making a run for it!
The girls decided to take a break in the swing. Today it was H-O-T. I dabbed some hot pink lipstick on their noses which quickly melted off since it was 85 degrees outside this afternoon.
Can't wait until next year...already thinking of costume ideas.

On the Mend
I think the girls may be on the mend...
...but I somehow just accidentally deleted my entire post - all but the line above. :-( Trust me, you didn't want all the icky details anyway. It was a long night for us all, but a better day for Anna Claire and a so-so day for Mallory. Hopefully this bug will be gone for good once the girls wake up in the morning.
