If a Tree Falls in the Forest and No One is There to Hear it, Does it Make a Sound?
Yesterday, my mom said Mallory took a step (one step) while I was working, but mommy wasn"t there to witness it. So, does that mean it didn't really happen? That's what I'm going to pretend. ;-)

It didn't happen. She will take her first step with you when you least expect it and you won't get it on film or the next 10 steps b/c you'll be so busy calling everyone saying "She's walking" Connor took his first step when he was eleven months old. When he did, it did not even occur to me to grab the camera, I was in shock and also afraid if I screamed, yelled, grabbed the camera it would scare him and he would never do it again. Instead, I grabbed the phone and called Brian at work, Granny and Papa and Brian's parents and missed the next ten steps b/c I was on the phone. Dylan, he may be running before I get a video clip.
