As you already know, the girls made their first trip {of many, many more, we hope} to Disney World last week. All of my family went ~ us, Granny, Papa, Michelle, Brian, Connor and Dylan packed into two minivans ~ packed in tight, but it worked.
We owe a huge thank you to Aunt Michell, family Disney expert, for booking, reserving, planning, organizing, and confirming the entire trip. Our first visit would not have happened without her! And thanks to Granny and Papa for all your help with the girls while we were there. We know you'll probably never share adjoining hotel rooms with us again, but the girls loved it!
Arriving at Coronado Springs...
Our first day at Disney, we checked into our resort then headed over to the Contemporary and Chef Mickey's for dinner. We were running late {which wound up being so comical}so we had to split up into two tables, but it was a great idea for the girls to get introduced to the "big name" characters up close and personal while each character {Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald - but we missed Donald because the girls had to go to the potty} stopped by our table while we stayed seated at dinner as opposed to having to stand in meet & greet lines on our first day at Magic Kingdom. The girls were so excited and I would definitely do a character dinner again on the first night.{Chef Mickey's note~to~self: great character face time; not impressed with the buffet; totally worth it in the end, though just to see the looks on the girls' faces}
You're probably about to get really bored with all the Disney pictures I'll be sharing here over the next few days. I promise, these are just a few of the cutest...
Anna Claire always went for their noses first!
Very first Mickey sighting...she's so excited!
After dinner, the girls took their first monorail ride around Disney World!
Papa and Mallory, Walter and Anna Claire on the way to the bus stop so we could get to bed early for the girls' first day in Magic Kingdom!!
